eGrants is highly configurable and can be implemented in a very short time. eGrants provides both an outward-facing web site used by applicants to complete and submit grant applications; securely submit necessary documentation; and track the status of their application. These outward-facing capabilities significantly reduce the staff time needed to assist with application creation and submission and the time needed to answer questions about application status as the application is being processed.
eGrants also provides all of the “back room” functionality used by staff to review applications; manage the collection and review of supporting documentation and data from third party sources; calculate awards; handle appeals and adjustments; and create the necessary reports for HUD, including requisitions.
eGrants for disaster relief is the leading software solution for distribution of HUD CDBG grants in response to natural disasters. Highly configurable and easy to implement, eGrants has successfully been used in Mississippi, Louisiana, and New Jersey. In New Jersey, for example, victims of Superstorm Sandy were able to enter applications into eGrants within 18 days of award of contract.
