eGrantsPlus leverages ERP functionality and is key in meeting States Transparency requirements

Fairfax, VA, April 6, 2010 – Technology firm STR, L.L.C. (STR) has completed Oracle Validated Integration of eGrantsPlus 2.2.1 with Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enteprise 9.0 through the Oracle® Application Integration Architecture for Partners initative (AIAP).

eGrantsPlus is the industry’s leading enterprise-wide grants management solution with proven implementations at both the Federal and State levels of government. eGrantsPlus is a completely web-based and paperless, grants management, COTS product that provides end-to-end grants process management capabilities. eGrantsPlus brings managerial control and exceptional value to a major business area while substantially improving service to the public.

“Our mutual commitment to best-in class, enterprise grants management functionality has positioned STR and Oracle to deliver an integrated solution to states needing to manage the billions of dollars of Federal assistance they receive, and then further grant through hundreds of programs within their state,” said Scott K. Meyer, President of STR, L.L.C. “Because we also have Federal clients, we have already incorporated the Federal FFATA data elements into our solution, so it’s a tremendous benefit for states to be able to leverage the Transparency collection and reporting capabilities that are available out-of-the-box.”

STR has collaborated with major grant providers over the years to build a COTS grants management solution that is flexible, fully web-based, and highly scalable. STR’s commitment to the eGrantsPlus platform is ongoing; continually interfacing with clients, grant management thought leaders, and policy makers to identify trends and options for aligning its software to deliver maximum value to the grant-making community. The integration with PeopleSoft Enterprise is one result of this ongoing commitment.

Validation through this initiative applies a rigorous technical process to review the integrations of third-party software to Oracle Applications products, including productized repeatable integrations from system integrators. Oracle provides tools, resources and training to assist partners in the integration. Partners who have successfully validated their integrations are authorized to use the “Integrated with Oracle” logo.
