STR has been working with Federal granting agencies for over eight years.
Many contractors have worked on parts of systems, but STR has executed the entire life cycle
from requirements analysis through deployment of two Federal grants management systems. The
first was built for the Inter-American Foundation (IAF), a small Federal agency, and has
been in use for over three years. The experience and techniques learned during the IAF
project were applied to our design, development, and deployment of the paperless eGrants
system that went live in June of 2002 at the Corporation for National and Community
Service (CNCS). CNCS uses eGrants for all application acceptance, review, award, and
maintenance of 18 programs.

The paperless, end-to-end system STR developed for CNCS was used as the
basis for eGrantsPlus. Enhancements and modifications being made include:
