<h2>Position Description</h2>

<p>STR is currently looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager with extensive experience selling software COTS products preferably in the public sector market. The selected candidate for this position will drive STR revenue through effectively targeting and positioning <strong><em>eGrantsPlus<sup><font size = "-2">®</font></sup></em></strong> and consulting and implementation services at the federal and/or state/local government level. Responsibilities will include:</p>

<ul>
<li>Identify and qualify multi-million dollar product opportunities in support of STR&#8217;s business objectives</li>
<li>Competitively position <strong><em>eGrantsPlus</em></strong> and manage successful responses to government-issued RFPs; Develop highly tailored and accurate messages to respond to specifics of client situation and needs</li>
<li>Drive sales activity process from opportunity identification to close</li>
<li>Work with appropriate individuals within STR, channel and product partners, and bid prime/sub-contractors to develop opportunities for a variety of solutions</li>
<li>Ability to lead deal review and analysis</li>
<li>Build post-sales relationships across client organizations to affect add-on business opportunities</li>
</ul>

<h2>Required Capabilities and Experience</h2>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree minimum</li>
<li>Significant understanding of and experience selling or delivering government software services, processes and offerings</li>
<li>Proven ability to sell and close large complex engagements of $5M+</li>
<li>Understanding of public sector procurement processes a plus</li>
<li>8 years minimum of relevant experience with demonstrated career growth</li>
<li>Strong understanding and hands-on experience with proposal process and proposal development</li>
</ul>

<h2>Position Description</h2>

<p>The <strong><em>eGrantsPlus<sup><font size = "-2">®</font></sup></em></strong> Software Development Manager will lead the software development team end-to-end, from the initial idea and early prototyping through to design implementation and delivery, and post-implementation, warranty and maintenance support of installed <strong><em>eGrantsPlus</em> </strong>clients. The ideal candidate for this position will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Own responsibility for planning and sizing of projects, prioritizing activities, reviewing design enhancements, chairing design and code reviews, problem solving, monitoring project progress, identifying, implementing and ensuring compliance to a standard Software Development Lifecycle methodology and tools </li>
<li>Work with clients for implementation planning and execution of client-specific implementation activities (gap fit analysis, configuration, installation, customization, data analysis, interface development)</li>
<li>Oversee and balance technical resources to support both internal product development, client-specific implementations, and post-implementation maintenance support</li>
<li>Establish the technical vision for the <strong><em>eGrantsPlus</em></strong></li>
<li>Collaborate with Marketing on product strategy and planning and with BD/Sales on pre-sales positioning activities, product capability demonstrations, and competitive procurement efforts</li>
<li>Prepare and manage annual staffing, product release, and budget plans with staff management responsibility for <strong><em>eGrantsPlus</em></strong> development team</li>
</ul>

<h2>Required Capabilities and Experience</h2>

<ul>
<li>Contributed to the development of a commercially available software product on a Windows or Linux platform in a senior capacity</li>
<li>Proven track record in management of a software team as well as having a high degree of competency in software development</li>
<li>History of managing day-to-day activities of a development team to ensure that team deliverables to the business are met on schedule and within budget on a consistent basis</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills with proficiency in architecture, design, and technology evaluation</li>
<li>BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience</li>
<li>Must be receptive to occasional travel.</li>
</ul>

<li>Java/J2EE JSP and JSF technologies</li>
<li>Working knowledge of JBoss product suite</li>

<h2>Position Description</h2>

<p>STR is currently looking for a Grants Management consulting professional that is well rounded and experienced in COTS software initiatives from a business functional perspective. Experience should include business transformation (typically through heavy involvement in a COTS implementation), with experience and/or knowledge of the major grants management functions such as Grant Program Definition, Application, Evaluation and Scoring, Award, Management and Closeout. Outside of client delivery responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to support <em><strong>eGrantsPlus<sup><font size = "-2">®</font></sup></strong></em> sales efforts at both the Federal and state and local government levels.</p>

<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for activities specific to business process and functional design including:</p>

<ul>
<li>Leading or coaching functional design teams which may require modeling of level 1, 2, and 3 business processes across typical grants management functional areas</li>
<li>Ability to define functional gap specifications identified by clients and evaluate gap-fit alternatives to include integration with existing legacy system functionality, customizations or enhancements to <strong><em>eGrantsPlus</em></strong>, or non-system business processes</li>
<li>Work with clients on change management and change control issues, prioritization and consensus development</li>
<li>Providing implementation approach/methodology, client-specific plans, and structure for the functional project work stream</li>
<li>Coaching team members (typically 2-4 staff members) to build stronger skills and capabilities</li>
<li>Managing and reporting on functional project work stream performance</li>
</ul>

<h2>Required Capabilities and Experience</h2>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree and / or a Masters degree in a business, technical or operations-related area</li>
<li>5 - 8 years experience as an internal or external consultant or with grants management domain experience</li>
<li>Experience with COTS product implementations and transformation initiatives</li>
<li>Familiarity with business modeling tools, requirements management, and software development and management tools, techniques and best practices</li>
<li>Strong business and industry acumen</li>
<li>Requires comfort with ambiguity and uncertainty</li>
<li>Must be receptive to moderate to frequent travel.</li>
