STR, L.L.C. was founded in April 1985 for the purpose of providing professional services and management consulting to customers in both the private and government sectors. It was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia as Systems and Technology Research, Inc. and later as STR Corporation before becoming a Limited Liability company in 1996.
